Ali Turiano is an American broadcast meteorologist who has built a long-running television career in weather forecasting. She is best known for her work at FOX 4 in Dallas-Fort Worth, where she has been part of the station since 2014.
Turiano joined KDFW after working at television stations in New York, Pennsylvania and Florida. Before moving to Texas, she spent about six years at News 13 in Orlando, gaining experience covering hurricanes, flooding and severe weather.
Today, FOX 4 lists Turiano as the morning meteorologist for Good Day and FOX 4 News.
One question that frequently comes up about the meteorologist is her age. Ali Turiano’s exact age cannot currently be established from reliable public information because her birth year has not been confirmed. January 17 is commonly listed online as her birthday, but that date has not been confirmed by a first-party source such as FOX 4 or another authoritative biography.
Her professional history, on the other hand, is much easier to trace. From her early interest in weather in Florida to her education at Pennsylvania State University and her eventual move to Dallas-Fort Worth, Turiano has spent much of her career working in broadcast meteorology.
Ali Turiano Age and Birthday
Ali Turiano’s exact age in 2026 is not publicly established.
The main reason is simple: a reliable public source does not provide her birth year. Without the year, an age cannot be calculated accurately, even if a day and month are listed elsewhere.
January 17 is commonly shown online as Turiano’s birthday. However, FOX 4’s biography does not publish a birth date or birth year, so the January 17 date should be treated as reported information rather than a confirmed date of birth.
For readers searching specifically for Ali Turiano’s age, the most accurate answer is therefore that her age and birth year have not been publicly verified.

Who Is Ali Turiano?
Ali Turiano is a television meteorologist whose career has taken her through several U.S. broadcast markets.
Her interest in weather developed while she was growing up in Florida. According to her FOX 4 biography, her family moved from New York to the Tampa Bay area when she was 11. Experiencing Florida’s thunderstorms helped spark her interest in weather and eventually led her toward meteorology as a career.
That interest developed into a more serious pursuit during high school. Turiano took advanced mathematics and science courses and gained early television experience through an internship at WFTS in Tampa during her senior year.
The experience gave her an opportunity to see how weather forecasting worked in a broadcast environment before she went to college.
She eventually chose Pennsylvania State University, where she studied meteorology and developed both forecasting and communications skills.
Her career since then has followed a fairly direct path: education in meteorology, early work in local television, several moves between broadcast markets and, ultimately, a long-term position at FOX 4 in Dallas-Fort Worth.
Ali Turiano’s Early Interest in Weather
Turiano’s interest in meteorology was influenced by the weather she experienced after moving to Florida.
Florida is known for frequent thunderstorms and rapidly changing weather, and Turiano has described those experiences as part of what drew her toward weather forecasting.
Her interest was not limited to watching storms. While in high school, she pursued advanced math and science courses and looked for opportunities to experience broadcast meteorology firsthand.
Her senior-year internship at WFTS in Tampa was an early step in that direction.
That background is significant because Turiano’s later career combined two areas that are not always identical: scientific weather forecasting and television communication. Her college education and subsequent broadcasting work allowed her to develop both.
Ali Turiano’s Education
Turiano attended Pennsylvania State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in meteorology.
Her degree included a forecasting and communications option, giving her training that was particularly relevant to broadcast meteorology.
While at Penn State, she was involved with the Campus Weather Service and worked with The Centre County Report, a College of Communications program.
She also completed an apprenticeship with the National Weather Service.
These experiences provided exposure to weather forecasting beyond the classroom. They also gave her practical experience communicating information to an audience, an important part of working as a television meteorologist.
By the time she graduated, Turiano had already developed experience in forecasting, communications and broadcast-related work.
That combination helped prepare her for the local television positions that followed.
Where Did Ali Turiano Start Her Career?
After graduating from Penn State, Turiano began her professional television career at WENY in Elmira, New York.
She worked there as a morning meteorologist before moving to WICU in Erie, Pennsylvania.
Her early career involved the kind of regional television weather work that gives meteorologists experience dealing with different climates, audiences and forecasting challenges.
After WICU, Turiano moved to Florida and joined News 13 in Orlando.
Her time at News 13 became an important part of her career. She spent approximately six years at the station and covered a variety of significant weather events.
Among the conditions she encountered were hurricanes, flooding and severe storms. Working in Florida provided particularly relevant experience with tropical weather and severe-weather coverage.
By 2014, Turiano had already worked in multiple television markets and had developed a substantial background in broadcast weather.
Ali Turiano at News 13 in Orlando
Turiano’s years at News 13 helped establish her as an experienced television meteorologist before her move to Texas.
Orlando and central Florida regularly experience thunderstorms and tropical weather, while the wider region can also be affected by hurricanes and flooding.
For a television meteorologist, such events require more than simply providing a daily forecast. Coverage can involve tracking changing storm conditions, explaining potential risks and communicating information clearly as forecasts develop.
Turiano’s work at News 13 gave her experience with those situations before she joined FOX 4.
According to her FOX 4 biography, she spent about six years at the Orlando station. That period represents one of the longer stops in her career before Dallas-Fort Worth became her professional home.
When Did Ali Turiano Join FOX 4?
Ali Turiano joined KDFW FOX 4 in May 2014.
The move was announced by TVNewsCheck in April 2014. The publication reported that KDFW had hired Turiano as a weekend meteorologist following her time at News 13 in Orlando.
The report gave May 28, 2014, as her expected start date.
Her initial role at FOX 4 was different from the position she holds today. She joined the station as a weekend meteorologist, then continued to build her role within the Dallas-Fort Worth weather team.
Her long tenure at KDFW has now made FOX 4 the most sustained chapter of her television career.
Ali Turiano’s Career at FOX 4
Turiano has spent more than a decade at FOX 4.
The Dallas-Fort Worth television market is one of the largest local broadcast markets in the United States, and North Texas presents its own range of forecasting challenges. Weather coverage can include strong thunderstorms, severe storms, flooding, high winds and significant seasonal changes.
Turiano’s work at FOX 4 has included regular weather forecasting as well as coverage of severe conditions affecting North Texas.
Her role has also developed since she first joined the station. FOX 4 currently lists her as the morning meteorologist for Good Day and FOX 4 News.
That means her work is not limited to a single forecast segment. Morning meteorologists typically provide updated conditions, forecasts and weather information throughout a changing broadcast period.
Turiano’s career progression can be summarized as:
Pennsylvania State University → WENY → WICU → News 13 Orlando → FOX 4 Dallas-Fort Worth
This path shows how her career developed from local television work in the Northeast to a major Texas television market.
What Does Ali Turiano Do at FOX 4?
As a morning meteorologist, Turiano’s primary responsibility is weather forecasting and communication.
Her FOX 4 role involves presenting weather information to viewers in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and helping audiences understand current conditions as well as upcoming forecasts.
Weather reporting requires more than simply listing temperatures. Meteorologists interpret forecasting data, monitor developing systems and communicate changing conditions to viewers.
That becomes particularly important during severe weather, when conditions can change quickly and viewers may need timely information about storms, flooding or other hazards.
Turiano’s previous experience in Florida, including hurricane and severe-weather coverage, has also given her a background in reporting during challenging weather situations.
Ali Turiano and Animal Welfare
Turiano’s public work extends beyond television.
In 2024, the SPCA of Texas presented her with the Mary Spencer Humanitarian Award.
The award recognized her involvement with the organization and its animal-welfare efforts. The SPCA highlighted her participation in events including Strut Your Mutt and Fur Ball.
The organization also discussed Turiano’s involvement with a feral cat colony in her neighborhood.
According to the SPCA, she helped trap cats so they could receive spaying or neutering and vaccinations before being returned.
This work is separate from her television career but provides another publicly documented part of her community involvement.
Turiano later acknowledged the humanitarian award publicly following the 2024 event.
Is Ali Turiano Married?
Ali Turiano is married to Ismael “Ish” Santiago.
PRSA Dallas has publicly referred to Santiago as Turiano’s husband in its event information. The SPCA of Texas has also mentioned the couple in connection with its events.
Turiano generally keeps her public profile focused on her professional work rather than extensive personal-life coverage. As a result, there is limited need to add private details that are not relevant to her biography.
For a profile focused on her career, the publicly documented relationship is sufficient.
Ali Turiano Height
Ali Turiano’s exact height has not been established through a reliable primary source.
Some online biography websites publish specific measurements, but those figures do not appear to be supported by documentation from FOX 4 or another authoritative source.
For that reason, no specific height is presented as fact here.
This is particularly relevant when biographical websites repeat the same figure without identifying where the information originally came from. Repetition across websites does not necessarily make an unverified personal detail reliable.
Ali Turiano Net Worth
There is also no reliable public figure that establishes Ali Turiano’s net worth.
Some websites publish estimated net-worth amounts for television personalities, often based on assumptions about salary, career length or other factors. Unless those figures are supported by financial records or a credible source with direct knowledge, they should be treated as estimates rather than confirmed amounts.
Turiano’s career at FOX 4 and her previous television work are publicly documented, but that does not provide enough information to calculate her personal wealth.
Therefore, Ali Turiano’s net worth is not publicly verified.
The same approach applies to salary figures. A reported or estimated salary should not automatically be presented as her actual income.
